OK I was looking at Gary's threads latest threads and thought damn those are coming up pretty decent. I have thought this before. So I got onto my photobucket and uploaded the dandelion shot from a day or so ago that I posted which was a bmp which we all know is horribly slow to upload. What I discovered is that I can upload the bmp to my bucket and then URL paste it (thanks Gary ;) ) here and this is what happens...my next step is to test this with my facebook images and see how they do..if I can get that razor sharp shit outta my FB I am going to be high fiving everyone just because!

Mike I know this is going to make you so happy! LOL

Another one for verification...and yes the jpeg on the bottom sucks compared to the bmp on top and now we have bmp's that load super fast as png's through the bucket...I am stoked! :D :D :D 8-) 8-) 8-)

Gary...the 5th picture in your 85 on 700 lens review is a seemingly useless green pole in the middle of the park. Looks really frigging old to me and I can see the neat sun deal or whatever that scrolling arty relief stuff is called...I want to ask you a huge favor...can you go back to your original jpeg on that shot, convert it to bmp, upload the bmp to your bucket, then post the jpg bucket version and then the bmp bucket version both together here in this thread...please...I see a lot of the stair stepping that I always seen before with a bucket jpeg and I know damn good and well that your original is much cleaner than what is in the post.

Thanks Mike I am trying to really get back into the swing of things hopefully I can make some snaps that will provide some enjoyment for people. I'm growing in skill I think and learning to use the Lightzone more effectively. Let's keep our fingers crossed! haha
